Do's and Don'ts

Don’t stop advertising.  You will do yourself long-term damage by taking yourself out of the market.

Do collect information.  You should be finding ways to get phone numbers, addresses and emails.  Everyone who has walked in your door or visited your website should be getting montly coupons sent to their home or inbox directly from you.

Don’t neglect your past customers.

Do get a website and get it optimized.

Advertising in a recession is similar to investing in a down market. Sticking with a plan or budget will position your company with a stronger, more recongnized brand when the market begins to turn around.

Customers are picky about the dollars they are spending, so without communicating a message to them (you) will be forgotten. 

Don’t be forgotten.
